INTAKE FAQ

Your intake questions answered

We want you to feel informed before we even meet. Here are the answers survivors most often ask.

What should I have ready before filling out the intake form?

Nothing urgent. The form covers basic contact info and a short description of your situation. We ask about your preferred language and how you found us.

Is the intake process confidential?

Yes. Everything you share during intake is protected by attorney-client privilege. We take privacy seriously from the first message.

How long will it take to hear back after I submit?

We usually respond within one business day. Laura reviews every intake personally to make sure nothing slips.

What happens after I submit the form?

Laura or a team member reaches out by phone or email to schedule a free, confidential consultation. You ask questions. We listen.

Can I submit the intake for someone else?

Yes. The form includes an option for advocates, family members, or organizations inquiring on behalf of a survivor.

Do I need money upfront to get legal help?

No. We work on a contingency basis for civil cases — you pay nothing unless we recover compensation for you.
